The Logis Troglo du Vigneron
The Logis Troglo du Vigneron is situated in the authentic wine village of Parnay, beside the river Loire in the "Saumur Champigny" wine region.
Located in the heart of the Loire Anjou Touraine region, this area is a UNESCO world heritage site, and the local village therefore offers outstanding beauty , tranquilility and an intimate connection with nature.
The small village of Parnay is just a 10 minutes drive from Saumur, a beautiful, historical market town ; you will have the opportunity to enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside whilst you are never too far from the nearby tourist services available in Saumur itself.
Dominique Chartier, born in Saumur, interior decorator and passionate about troglodyte dwellings, purchased this ancient troglodyte wine producing property dating from the 18th century and has sympathetically and lovingly restored the house and adjoining caves whilst incorporating all the modern features of the 21st century.
A unique feature of this beautiful dwelling is the relaxing Jacuzzi® spa located within the rocks.
One of the three luxury bedrooms contains within it the original wine press, once used in the traditional wine making process.
